Nice and compact. Uses my 18v batteries from other dewalt tools. Has the hog ring retainer which I buy to the spring loaded pin. One sign...the relate shows that it has the smaller battery improper for the newer Nano style batteries, but mine had the aged style atrocious that fits the older ni-cad batteries. It works for me since I have only the older batteries. Both batteries will run in and function. Seems to have the lawful amount of torque for a 3/8" drive impact.
